As a group we were taken through a technical tutorial of Photoshop. This was helpful as we have to create a digipack as part of our project and Photoshop is the software we are using to do this. We learnt how to replace the background of picture which will be helpful in the making of our album cover if we wish to change the colours or actual background. We also learnt how to import pictures to Photoshop, this will help us as our new artist or band can feature on the front of the album and digipack.
This is a practice of the album cover we want to produce. We will improve this and work on our Photoshop skills so that our final digipack will be interesting and quirky, therefore it will then represent the chosen genre.
This is the finished product of my Green Screen technical tutorial. we started off filming the music video, we set up three camera from different angles so that there would be three performance shots. Unfortunately I've only managed to upload 2 as we needed more time to upload them all, this therefore means that we need to leave alot of time after the shooting of our project to make sure we are able to take our time in editing and uploading footage. Once we filmed the video we set about exporting the footage into final cut. We found that its annoying when having to crop the picture of your film as you need to be careful the person in the video doesn't come out of the picture or they will disappear. You can see this has happened with my arm in the video. When filming for my own project, I will now know that the frame should just consist of what you want to see in final cut as cropping and trying to get rid of items such as the boxes you see in this video is very hard and can make the film look less professional.
